1. Registered Nurses

Register nurses are the spinal cord of the medical system in the USA. They handle critical cases and below are their job responsibilities.

• Do a physical check-up of the patient note down the health history of the patient so that the doctor can refer it.

• Always wear a smile, educate the public, do their counseling.

• Give medicine to the ill person and give personalized attention to the needy patient.

• As per the guidelines given by the doctor, they have to follow it, co-ordinate with the doctors, and give necessary treatment like giving injections in a timely manner. Checking the BP and Sugar of the patient.

2. Advanced Practice Registered Nurses

They have done their basic nursing course along with that they have a master’s degree. They provide preliminary and preventive health care to the general public. Along with that, they can treat illness, give advice to the patient about their health. They have to keep themselves updated with the latest technology, methodology, and knowledge of varied fields. Their job responsibilities are

• They can prescribe medication and also can treat any not so major illness

• Those who are certified are providing gynecological and obstetrical support to the patients.

• They can take care of the physical and mental problem

• Certified registered nurses are eligible to give anesthesia.

3. Licensed Practical Nurses

This nurse work under APRN, RN, or with an MD. They would do a basic and routine checkup of the patients. When the patient is admitted then he takes care of the patient from the time he is being admitted to the hospital till they get discharged. • Check the BP and sugar of the patients, with the data they need to gauge if the patient is getting well or not.

• They need to change the bandage and wound dressings

• They would also need to change the bedsheet, check if the slime is properly given to the patient or not.
