Early Warning Services, LLC, the operator of the Application of Zelle (“Zelle®” or “we”) collects the following types of information about you when you use this Application (“App”). You may enter information into the App, or consent to its automatic collection and access by the App. We may share the information we collect or access with third parties. If you do not agree to our access, collection, sharing or transmission of data as indicated below, please do not use this App.
Downloaded/Used Apps – Apps from banks or financial institutions that you have downloaded and that are part of our network of financial institutions, with which you can make money transfers.
Biometrics – TouchID information to verify your identity through your fingerprints or voice to authenticate your identity and protect the security of your account. Please note that anyone who can authenticate via fingerprint with TouchID on their device will have the ability to use this App if TouchID is enabled in the App.
Contacts/address book – your contact names and phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, and other contact information, so you can make money transfers with people on your contact list for your convenience and better experience.
Geolocation (GPS, WiFi, or user input) – your previous or current precise location and history of places you have visited.
Mobile phone number – when you share it with us, we use your mobile phone number to send you payment notifications, and also as a token to authenticate your identity. We also collect the mobile phone of any person that you provide to us for the purpose of facilitating money transfers.
Email Addresses – We collect your email address when you register for an account and to send you notifications related to payment transfers and also as a token to authenticate your identity. We also collect email addresses of anyone you provide to us for the purpose of facilitating money transfers.
Username – your full name so that we can personalize the messages we send you and to identify the sender and recipient of a money transfer.
Financial and payment information – financial information from your bank to process your money transfers to and from your bank account.
Health and Medical Information – We may collect any health information you specifically provide to us in the memo field when submitting a payment.
Passwords – the passwords you have entered or saved to access your account so that we can help you in case you have problems accessing your account. We may also collect your password associated with your banking credentials with your authorization to connect your banking information with the app and also for verification purposes.
Photos – the photos you upload to your profile, as well as the photos of your contacts to make it easier to transfer money to your contacts. We also allow you to use your camera to capture an image of your bank card in order to connect your bank information to your account.
Data Subject Identity – information that identifies you as the owner of this device or the person providing information to us, as well as to authenticate your identity and process transactions on your behalf.
Tracking of different devices and device graphs – information that shows other devices you use, including the fingerprint you use to access your devices, as well as other non-personal data that identifies you as a user of your other devices. Device graphs may be created by combining non-personal data related to the use of smartphones and other devices with personal login information to track interactions with content across devices.
Unique Device ID (UDID) – the unique series of numbers and letters assigned to your device.
Unique Device Tokens – an app platform address for your device in order to send you to push notifications.
Unique Identifier Header – header information such as device type, preferred language, and content support to create anonymous reports.
Phone identity – the name of this device, assigned by the user himself; p. e.g., “Juan Pérez’s phone number”
Date of birth – in some cases, your date of birth for authentication purposes.
Security – certain security measures such as firewalls, data encryption, physical access controls to our data centers, and data access authorization controls to help protect your personal information.
Bluetooth – when you turn on the nearby users feature ofZelleto receive a notification when there are users of the App ofZelle®near you, we will use your device’s Bluetooth feature to identify and notify you about other users of the App.Zelle®that are nearby. In addition, turning on the nearby users feature will allow other nearby users toZelle®be notified when you are near them.
More information about third parties with whom we share or transmit your information:
- “ Service Providers” who are “under contract to assist with business operations, including, but not limited to, pre-screening and authenticating your identity and account.
- “ Banks and financial institutions ” are banks or financial institutions that you use, and with whom we share information in order to authenticate your identity and your account, and to process money transfers to and from your account.
