How long does an AAT exam take?
Most schools offer three types of exams: theory exams, practical exams, and assessments. These tests provide candidates with a way of testing their knowledge. In theory exams, candidates are asked to complete a set of questions. They are usually given 1 hour to complete these questions.
In practical exams, candidates are allowed to practice by completing problems and exercises. It is usually offered as homework and/or tutorials. Assessments are a type of practical exam. They involve completing practical activities. Some of these activities may include AAT Exam Centre working on a case study, preparing a budget, completing a research paper or completing an exercise.
The duration of these exams varies from school to school. Some courses last less than 5 weeks. Others, such as the Diploma in Accounting and Bookkeeping, and Certificate IV in Business (Accounting) courses, can last up to 12 months.
The cost of a course differs from one school to another. It will typically depend on the number of years that the course lasts, how many times it will be taken, and how much it is being used. For example, the longer the course and the more it is being used, the higher the price will be.
