Another tool at your disposal as a graphic designer is the emotional response in shape forms. And no, I’m not going to go into every single shape and explain what that means from an emotional standpoint, because I have done that before on this channel. This design here is not a good design. I don’t really like it at all due to the layouts and topography choices, but they have used a triangle shape on this design.

 

Trying To Express Strength And Power

 

The design is trying to express strength and power among other things. And so they’ve used a triangle, which would be a good choice in this instance because it’s a symbol of strength, psychologically speaking. Or take a look at this design, which is for breast cancer research and awareness. The circular shape relates back to community and trust. And it’s also quite a feminine symbol too. The advert in general is fast paced, is impacting and it’s bold.
